Australian based player Alex Wawu has declared that the Pirates of Seychelles are battle ready for Nigeria, reports Footballlive.ng.
Seychelles will host Nigeria in a 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Stade Linite on Saturday.
“We are getting ready and thinking about the game. We are looking forward to the match,” Alex Wawu told Footballlive.ng.
“We are going to play 100% and win. The Nigerian team is good but we will give our best.”
“Our strong point is training together and working hard. We want to redeem ourselves against Nigeria.
“We will try our best and go for a win. We have got nothing to lose. We will play our game and hope for the best,” he declared.
The Super Eagles will take on the Pirates on Saturday, 8th September at exactly 1:30 pm Nigerian time.
