AS Torino of Italy defender, Ola Aina is still in doubt for a return to action with his club this weekend against Udinese, as the lad on loan from Chelsea of England is yet to recover from a recent knock.
Aina had to withdraw from the Super Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away to Seychelles last Saturday on account of the same injury, but he now appears still way behind two weeks after.
This much Torino confirmed on Wednesday, as they revealed that Aina did not train with his colleagues on Tuesday afternoon.
Aina was missing when his teammates lined out for an open door training session on the secondary field and The Maroons’ manager, Walter Mazzarri directed a session of athletic and tactical work.
Aina did not take part in training as he is still receiving treatment after sustaining a muscular problem to the biceps femoris of the left thigh against SPAL in the last game before the international break.
It would be a blow for Mazzarri without Aina this weekend, as the dark-skinned full back has figured in all the matches played by Torino in the new season.
