Enugu Rangers head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has admitted that his wards were completely stretched by Nasarawa United in the semi final of the Aiteo Cup at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday.
The Flying Antelopes fought gallantly from a two-goal deficit to win 4-2 in the thrilling contest.
“This one is gone and we give God all the glory,” the former Gateway United and Sunshine Stars gaffer began.
“We were completely stretched but I thank God we played a good game even when we were trailing by two goals.”
“We created the chances but were unlucky not to have connected before they went two goals up.
“The final will be another game with a different approach as our target remains winning the title.”
Rangers will be taking on Kano Pillars in the final match of Aiteo Cup slated for the Stephen Keshi Stadium on October 24.
