Former Flying Eagles’ captain, Abduljeleel Ajagun has found a fresh chance for a revival of his once booming career at Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Ajagun is bound to have a massive boost in his hope of resuscitating his career, as he will play at his new base under a coach with whom he is very familiar.
Ajagun, who has previously played in Greece and Holland, will now how for better form than he had at KV Kortjik of Belgium, till the end of this season.
Ajagun, who captained Nigeria at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2011 and 2013, will now be expected to use this loan spell to regain his form in the squad that has Yannis Anatasiou as their gaffer.
It is the same man Ajagun played under at Panathinaikos of Greece, then also took him to Roda JC Kerkrade of Holland and then Kortrijk.
Ajagun struggled for playing time at Kortrijk this season, but can only move to Nicosia on loan, as he still has two years left on his contract at the Belgium club that once had ex-international, Augustine Eguavoen on their cards several years ago.
