Ibrahim Ajani warned that Rangers International believe they can play against anyone, having defeated Bantu FC for a place in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Flying Antelopes are into the group stage draw after securing a 4-2 Play-off aggregate round win against Bantu FC thanks to Sunday afternoon’s second leg 2-1 win at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
For their winger, it is proof of the team’s potential going forward.
“It was a great day, we have deservedly progressed through the round,” Ajani told Sports247.ng.
“This Rangers team have demonstrated their level, they can play against anyone.
“We had some fear before the CAF Confederation Cup started, but the team has responded.”
Meanwhile, Rangers have been drawn against Etoile du Sahel, CS Xfaxien and Salitas in Group B of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The fixtures will kick off on Sunday 3rd February and climax on March 10th. Match days 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be played on February 13th, 24th, March 3rd and 10th respectively.
