Heartland FC forward Moses Akinade believes that the club have what it takes to stay up come the end of the season.
The Owerri based outfit are currently bottom in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table with 20 points from 24 matches.
But the stocky forward has insisted that his team can survive.
“I believe in Heartland and our bid to beat the drop. It might look like an impossible mission but anything is possible,” he told FootballLive.ng.
“I have confidence in the team. Our points haul looks worrisome but we can pull it off and beat the drop.
“Hope is not lost here, we will not give up. Winners never quit.
“We will not stop fighting. We have to think solely about ourselves and forget what other teams are doing.”
The Naze Millionaires will return to top flight action with a trip to fellow strugglers Yobe Desert Stars on Wednesday 18th July.
