Date:

In an exciting Eredivisie clash at the Mac3Park Stadion, Ajax secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Zwolle, showcasing their attacking prowess and determination to claim all three points on the road.

Ajax wasted no time asserting their dominance as Kristian Hlynsson opened the scoring in the 12th minute, capitalizing on an assist from Benjamin Tahirovic to give the visitors an early lead and set the tone for the match.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 24th minute when Chuba Akpom found the back of the net, courtesy of a well-executed assist from Mika Godts, further solidifying Ajax’s control over the game.

However, Zwolle fought back valiantly in the second half, with Filip Krastev pulling one back for the home side in the 72nd minute. Younes Namli provided the crucial assist, injecting a sense of hope into Zwolle’s camp.

Any hopes of a comeback were dashed in the 84th minute when Chuba Akpom struck again for Ajax, notching his second goal of the game to make it 3-1. Anton Gaaei provided the assist, sealing the victory for the visitors.

The result sees Ajax sitting in 5th place in the Eredivisie table with 44 points from 27 games, while Zwolle occupies the 13th position with 28 points from the same number of games. With this important win, Ajax aims to climb higher in the standings, while Zwolle will look to bounce back in their upcoming fixtures.
