Akwa United Falls Short Against Rangers in NPFL Clash

Akwa United’s caretaker coach, Umar Abdullahi, expressed disappointment after his team’s 1-0 loss to Rangers in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match.

Kazeem Ogunleye’s 48th-minute goal secured the win for Rangers. Despite the loss, Abdullahi praised his players’ commitment and determination, emphasizing the positives and the quality in the attacking department.

Akwa United currently sits in 16th place on the NPFL table with 21 points from 20 games. They will face Bayelsa United in their next league fixture.
