Akwa United Football Club of Uyo have decided to let go of nine players after the end of the season.
Many believed that the promise keepers management is having an overhauling of their club which is for the best interest of the club.
These are the names of the players who were officially relinquished of their services to the club:
Isamila Shagari,
Ayobami Asekunowo,
Kelly Kester
Katoh Haggai,
Adeshina Gata,
Aminu Nuhu,
Franklin Ekong,
Edem Akakatang
Boniface Mathew.
The Chairman of the club, Elder Paul Bassey disclosed this to press men on Monday during an interactive session .
Elder Bassey also told the press that the club will officially unveil its new Technical Adviser on Monday after the departure of former Technical Adviser, Abdu Maikaba
