Al Masry striker Amutu happy to get first goal

Al Masry striker Austin Amutu says his debut goal for the Egyptian Premier League (EPL) club will help him settle in North Africa.

 

The former Warri Wolves and Yeni Malatyaspor forward got the second goal against Misr El-Maqasa on Thursday as his side won 2-0 in the week 22 of the EPL.

“It’s important to score early when you are playing for a new team as it takes a bit of pressure off you,” the sharp shooter told Footballlive.ng.

“The best feeling as a striker is to score goals.”

He added: “Getting your first goal helps you and you can then gradually play better with the team and adapt to the team’s game
