Saudi Arabia top flight club, Al Nassr Riyad have confirmed a bid of £30m for Leicester City attacker, Ahmed Musa, in a move to snatch him away from the former English Premier League champions.
Though Musa had snubbed earlier summer transfer offers from Galatasaray of Turkey and Huddersfield Town of England, Al Nassr Riyad are of a view that their bait would be too tempting for the former CSKA Moscow of Russia speedster to resist.
In 2016, Leicester spent £16.6m to sign Musa from CSKA but he could not settle down at King Power Stadium, and eventually returned to his previous club on loan last season.
That came after he contributed just two goals from 21 outings in the Premier League, but stunning form back at CSKA and two well taken goals at the World Cup have shot Musa back into the spotlight, with several clubs now angling for his signature.
Consequently, Al Nassr Riyad are willing to pay £30m in order to sign the attacker this summer, as the 25-year-old does not appear to have a future with Leicester, despite the exit of Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City last week.
Two years remain on Musa’s contract with The Foxes and Leicester will likely jump at the chance to double their money by selling him to the Saudi moneybags.
