Alebiosu dedicates hat trick to Festus Allen

Date:

Kwara United striker, Alebiosu Segun has revealed his gift-wrapped hat trick blast against Abia Warriors was his birthday present to Coach Festus Allen.

The forward dedicated his hat trick to celebrate Coach Allen birthday, a good gift for him as he has earlier demanded a win to celebrate his birthday.
“I’m very happy,” said Alebiosu Segun after the last gasp winner that sparked badge-kissing joy.
“We have been celebrating as it is Coach Allen’s birthday and this was my present to him. I am very happy for him, and for me too but mostly I am happy for the team for the massive win,  honestly it is unprecedented in the recent time.”
“The first goal was very easy for me because I was able to pick an angle through the position of the flat footed goalie. And for the second, the defender did not see me coming and I took the ball, one touch then shot.

I was very happy, the third goal that made it a hat trick was as a result of the smooth movement of the ball through Lucas Yahaya, he watched my position and that of their defense and gave it to my advantage, honestly am glad and pleased with the temperament of our coach, he is marvelous and my team mates are superb, we are United-one love.”

The eyebrow-raising win over the Umuahia Warriors upset the pundits because no one could ever predict the margin.
“It was a very hard game,” he said. “Abia Warriors are a very strong side but we are stronger, moreover we always pass the ball and in that game we passed it very well, we have strong belief in ball possession and my boys were in their top forms in the game”.
