Alex Iwobi scored his first goal of the season as Fulham secured a 2-1 victory over Leicester City at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Iwobi played a key role in helping Fulham earn their first Premier League win of the season, defeating fellow Super Eagles teammate, Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester City.
New signing Emile Smith Rowe made an immediate impact on his home debut, scoring the opener in the 18th minute after Adama Traoré set him up for a left-footed shot into the far corner.
Leicester equalized in the 41st minute through Wout Faes, making it 1-1 at halftime.
Fulham continued to press in the second half, and in the 70th minute, Iwobi found the net with a low, hard shot following a clever reverse pass from Antonee Robinson.
The hosts held on for the victory, bouncing back from their opening loss to Manchester United.
Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey both played the full 90 minutes for Fulham, while Wilfred Ndidi also completed the match for Leicester.
