Beijing Renhe of China new arrival, Omatsone ‘Sone’ Aluko aims to hit the ground running from the word go on Friday, as he seeks a glorious debut with the Chinerse Super League outfit.
The game barely three days after Aluko completed his loan transfer from Reading of England to Renhe, but the left-footed winger-cum-attacker will aim to step out with a bold statement.
Incidentally, Renhe completed Aluko’s signing just two days before the close of the winter transfer market in The Oriental Nation, but the former Super Eagles star is not to be cowed in his targets with the team.
Rather than stay clam and lie low before seeking his debut, Aluko is in line to feature for the Beijing-based side in their opening game of the new season against Shandong Luneng on Friday.
Renhe’s agreement with Reading will see Aluko spend the entire season on loan in Beijing, with the 30-year-old ex-youth international seeking some cash for the twilight of his career.
It is the first move outside the British Isles for Aluko, who previously played for Birmingham City, Aberdeen, Blackpool, Glasgow Rangers, Hull City and Fulham.
