Bendel Insurance goalkeeper Amas Obasogie received a late call-up to join the Super Eagles for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
The invitation comes as a replacement for Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, who withdrew from the squad on Monday.
Obasogie, considered one of the top goalkeepers in the Nigerian Premier Football League, joined the Super Eagles camp on Tuesday.
This marks his first invitation to the national team, and he is expected to provide additional depth to the goalkeeping unit.
Nigeria is gearing up for their matches against Lesotho and Zimbabwe as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
