Bendel Insurance’s goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie, has addressed rumors about a potential move away from the club, stating that he has not yet decided on his future. Despite interest from former Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rivers United and Enyimba, Obasogie remains committed to his current club for now.
In an interview with Brila Media, Obasogie expressed his uncertainty about the future, emphasizing his current affiliation with Bendel Insurance. “We’re still on it, we just pray for God. We hope for a better offer, God willing. I don’t know the plan yet, but I’m still at Bendel Insurance. I’ve not made my decision yet, but I’m still a full member of Bendel Insurance,” he stated.
Obasogie’s influence was pivotal for Bendel Insurance, as they conceded the fewest goals (30) in the season, despite finishing ninth on the log. His performances have attracted attention from top NPFL clubs, yet his commitment to his current team remains unchanged for the moment.
