Chelsea of England youngster, Faustino Anjorin was again in top form, and footballlive.ng can report that his contributions helped The Blues’ junior team snatch a 5-0 victory against Plymouth Argyle.
The 16-year-old Anjorin continued his goals run of the current season by netting in his sixth straight match, as Chelsea went goals-wire in the Checkatrade Trophy competition on Tuesday.
Anjorin had previously scored against the under-18 teams of Swansea City, Brighton and West Ham United, as well as Molde of Sweden under-19 squad in the UEFA Youth League and Brighton’s under-23s.
The first-year scholar at Stamford Bridge is now edging closer to a professional contract when he clocks 17 in November, as his latest display came as a 71st minute substitute.
Despite going on late in the game, Anjorin had a hand in three goals scored by Chelsea in the second half, first with a perfect cross for Taylor-Crossdale to make it 3-0 in the 74th minute.
Anjorin then scored Chelsea’s fourth goal with four minutes left on the clock before setting up Dutch striker Redan in the 89th minute.
