Chelsea of England youth team striker, Faustino Anjorin was again on song with a goal at the weekend, as he struck one in his side’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City U18s.
The 16-year-old Anjorin, who started the campaign with a goal in a 3-1 win over Southampton last time out, was on from start to finish in their league encounter at Cobham Training Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Anjorin has now scored in four straight games he has played in the U18 Premier League, against Southampton and West Ham United last term and his two strikes in the new season.
With the game heading for a stalemate, Anjorin was picked out by Ekwah-Elimby’s cross which he hit home with a volley in the 86th minute.
Leicester, though, pulled level when Sidnei Tavares beat Chelsea goalkeeper, Karlo Žiger from the penalty spot two minutes later, ending the game one apiece.
Next for Chelsea and Anjorin is a trip to the Academy Spurs Lodge where they face Tottenham Hotspur in a potentially explosive London derby.
