Saudi First Division club Al-Adalah have signed former Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Al-Ain.
Last season the former Lobi Stars netted 17 goals in 27 league appearances for Al-Ain last season.
The 30-year-old was the third-highest goal scorer in the league however Al- Ain missed out on promotion to the top flight.
Okpotu announced his departure from Al-Ain on his official Instagram page, expressing gratitude to the club and reminiscing about the memories they created over the past year.
Before moving Saudi, Okpotu played in the Tunisian Ligue with US Monastir where he helped the club win the FA Cup at the expense of Esperance.
Anthony Okpotu holds the distinction of being the only player in the Nigeria Professional Football League to have scored three hat-tricks in a single season.
