Twenty-three minutes of game time, first league appearance and a winning goal to show for it, if you saw Anthony Ujah’s celebration you’d understand the passion behind it!
Last season the player returned to Europe after two seasons in China and despite playing 11 games in familiar territories, the striker failed to register a goal.
This season though, Ujah seems to be on a mission to remind anyone who has doubts about his goal scoring abilities that he can still be a double-digits striker in Germany.
In his first spell in the Bundesliga, where he spent almost six years, playing for Mainz 05, Koln and Werder Bremen in the process the Nigeria International showed progression.
On Sunday, he came off the bench against Stuttgart and scored a tap in after just 9 minutes on the pitch, and it proved to be enough to secure an opening day win in the league.
