Nigerian-born Chelsea youth team player, Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi is bound to become the next compatriot to join Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi and Kelechi Iheaancho at Leicester City.
Footballlive.ng can report that Ndidi and Iheanacho are bound to have another Nigerian pal to replace Ahmed Musa, who left this summer to join Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia, as Arrey-Mbi has started training with former English Premier League champions ahead of a potential transfer.
Arrey-Mbi, who was born in 2003 and is already a German youth international, played 90 minutes for The Foxes in a 4-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the U18 Premier League last week.
The youngster, who has not been offered a deal by Chelsea, made his competitive debut for The Blues’ under-18 side on the final day of last season against Arsenal.
However, he has not featured for the Stamford Bridge outfit this term, hence his desire for a deal at King Power Stadium.
He could go on to feature in central defence for Leicester’s U18s next season along with another Nigerian-born lad, Daniel Obi, who already has a two-year scholarship deal with The Foxes.
