Arsenal and Iwobi fail to make it 12

Date:

Super Eagles winger, Alex Iwobi saw 90 minutes of action but was unable to inspired Arsenal to a 12th match win in all competition as the London gunners drew 2 – 2 at Crystal Palace in a London Derby.

The gunners have won their last 11 matches in all competition including seven consecutive wins in the league.

Two penalty goals from Palace’s skipper Luka Milivojevic in both halves (p46′, 81′) ensured Palace got a deserved point in the encounter. Granit Xhaka and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang got both goals for Arsenal in the second half of the game.

Iwobi and Arsenal will next face Blackpool on Wednesday in a League Cup fixture before welcoming current Leader Liverpool in their next outing.
