Saint-Etienne unveiled the signing of Remy Cabella with their version of the viral video taking the internet by storm. Cabella, 28, enjoyed a loan spell at AS Saint-Etienne from Marseille last season, playing 28 league games scoring seven goals.
Following his campaign in France’s top flight, AS Saint-Etienne have decided to secure his services on a permanent deal. He’s penned a four-year contract with the club going all out to announce his transfer.
At first the identity of the passenger is concealed as he steps out onto the road, with the car crawling along at a gentle pace. But then Cabella comes into view as he makes a heart shape with his hands, smiling briefly at the camera and dancing before being handed his No 7 shirt by new team-mate, Whabi Khazri.
It seems that quirky ways to unveil players are becoming a feature of the transfer window, with Villarreal even revealing Santi Cazorla through plumes of smoke.
