Asisat Oshoala Scores as Bay FC Draw 1-1 Against North Carolina

Date:

Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala netted her fifth goal of the season in Bay FC’s 1-1 draw against North Carolina in an NWSL clash.

Oshoala opened the scoring in the 11th minute against a tough opponent.

“It was a good feeling, especially for the team. Great efforts from the guys against a very tough side,” Oshoala said.

North Carolina quickly equalized through Ashley Sanchez just 12 minutes later.

Asisat Oshoala is satisfied with the result, as she explains the importance of securing points at this stage of the season.

“They are a good team and play good football as well. It was difficult, but we were able to get one point, and it’s a big point for us,” Oshoala added.

“Every point we get is very important now, and it was a good outing for us physically and mentally.”
