Speaking to newsmen at the Aba International stadium the governor in his speech was thankful to God for the brand new pitch and the players seems to be very happy and excited with the brand new pitch given to them and this is also is representative of the Abia signature it is either the best for the people or nothing and said that he hopes the stadium will become a slaughter ground for Enyimba international.
And to the glory of God we will win trophies for Enyimba, Abia state and Nigeria.this is my desire and wish.I think what speaks here is quality its either the best or nothing.
It took time because we don’t have all the money in the world but with proper planning we’ve come this far and we want to present a stadium where even the super eagles can come and host international matches so that people here can see their darling super eagles play in our turf we are giving the other stadias in Nigeria a good run for their money and he don’t think any of them has anything to compare to what we have here.
The pitch has world class turf and world class environment..the sporting governor went further to recollect his playing days where he described himself as a heaviest striker in the world a one chance striker..
