Augsburg are reportedly in advanced discussions to secure the loan signing of Brentford midfielder, Frank Onyeka.
The 26-year-old Nigerian international is keen on leaving the Premier League side in search of regular playing time after struggling to break into the first team last season.
Brentford are only willing to allow Onyeka to leave on a loan deal without a buy option, despite his desire for more consistent minutes on the pitch.
The defensive midfielder has also started the London club’s opening two games of the season on the bench.
Frank Onyeka has three years remaining on his contract with Brentford.
He could soon be linking up with Jess Thorup’s Augsburg side as he seeks to revive his career in the Bundesliga.
