Awaziem expects tough test from Libya

Date:

Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem has said that Libya will provide the Super Eagles “biggest challenge” when the two nations meet at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday.

Gernot Rohr’s side currently sit third on the Group E league for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualfiers.
Awaziem has acknowledged that the squad are wary of the Mediterranean Knights, but the FC Porto centre-back has suggested that he and his teammates should focus on their own performance.
The defender told Footballlive.ng: “I think it will be our biggest challenge in the group. I think they are a good team, they play some good football, but I think it’s the way that we approach the game as well and how we play.
“We can play to our best ability, and you saw in the first 30 minutes of the game against Seychelles the other night that we created a lot of chances, so hopefully we can win the game.”
