Awurum on the bounce as Varzim pip Leixoes

Date:

In footballing parlance, Nigeria striker Stanley Awurum is unstoppable at the moment after netting his third goal in all competitions.

The 28-year-old attacker netted the solitary goal as Varzim pipped Leixoes 1-0 in a Portuguese Segunda Liga on Sunday.
There were some important guests at the Estadio do Mar to watch Awurum score his first league goal of the season.
”I feel very happy to have scored the only goal of the game,” Awurum said to Footballlive.ng.
”It’s my third goal in all competitions and I’m getting better game by game.
”This goal in particular was well taken by me. I knew the cross was coming to my path and had to pick up my spot to head home.
