The Nigerian top flight will make a return on September 2 following the World Cup break.
And the Solid Miners number one shot stopper, who is revered in the land for his clean sheets is delighted with the development.
“I’m so happy that league has returned following the World Cup break, it’s a thing of joy for players in the NPFL.
“We have been training hard and anticipating the resumption and now it’s upon us.
The goalkeeper has discussed his team’s position on the log and stated that their aim is to finish higher.
“We are 12th on the log with 29 points, that’s 14 points below leaders Lobi Stars.
“We aren’t putting ourselves under pressure but want to pick points as many as possible and climb up the table at the end of the season. Then we can look at ourselves and evaluate our performance,” he added.
