Bala Abubakar has stepped down from his role as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Katsina United.
The decision to resign came after the Chanji Boys’ defeat against Sunshine Stars in Akure during matchday 25.
Reportedly, Abubakar cited the lack of a conducive atmosphere and the club’s failure to fulfill his contractual agreements as reasons for his resignation.
In his resignation letter, Abubakar expressed gratitude for the opportunity and support he received during his time with the club, wishing them the best for the remainder of the season.
During his tenure, Katsina United achieved six wins, three draws, and three defeats in 12 games under Abubakar’s leadership.
