Barcelona star Kevin Prince Boateng house robbed on Saturday night, February 16, while playing against Real Valladolid in La Liga game.
The house which is in the upmarket neighborhood of Sarria was robbed by yet to be identified hoodlums in which £250,000 of valuables and cash were stolen.
Boateng made his home debut for Barcelona at Nou Camp last night as he was named in the starting line-up and played 60 minutes before being substituted.
The 31-year-old Ghanaian star discovered the break-in when he returned home after the match which ended 1-0 in favor of Barcelona as Lionel Messi scored the goal.
Kevin Boateng is currently playing for Barcelona on loan from Italian side Sassuolo and will be there till the end of the season.
Barcelona is currently topping the Spanish La Liga standings with 54 points after 24 games played this season.
The former AC Milan forward replaced departed Munir El Haddadi who joined Sevilla in the January window on a permanent deal.
Boateng who represented his native country at the 2006 World Cup scored four goals in 13 appearances for Sassulo this season before joining Barcelona.
