The Super Eagles are nearing full strength as several players have joined the camp ahead of their clash against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
Previously, 15 players had arrived at the camp, with training starting on Sunday.
On Monday, it emerged that some players were stranded in Lagos and Abuja due to the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) strike.
However, the team’s media officer has confirmed that five players, including Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, and Paul Onuachu, have touched down in Uyo.
Still expected to arrive are Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, and Maduka Okoye, and it’s hoped they will join before the end of today.
Nigeria currently sits third on the table with two points from two matches as they prepare to face Bafana Bafana, who currently holds the second spot in the World Cup qualifiers.
