Battle Ground for Bafana Bafana vs Super Eagles Clash decided

Date:

The South Africa vs Nigeria match for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier will be played inside the FNB Stadium, footballlive.ng can confirm.

Bafana Bafana, who are currently second in Group E behind Libya, but a point above the Super Eagles have picked out the FNB Stadium for the 17 November clash.

The first meeting between the sides on South African soil was inside the FNB Stadium for a World Cup qualifying match in 1993; it ended goalless.

Nigeria has since returned to the famous Soccer City grounds, doing so five years ago when Stephen Keshi led the Super Eagles to victory in the Africa Cup of Nations final over Burkina Faso.
