Head coach of Bafana Bafana of South Africa, Stuart Baxter has admitted that that the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be a tough encounter.
The gaffer insists his wards will be out to stretch the three-time AFCON champions in the Group E encounter at the magnificent FNB Stadium on Saturday.
And beating Nigeria will pose a much difficult task to South Africa considering that their opponents are on top of the log with nine points from four games.
One point currently separate the two sides with South Africa having eight points to sit second on the standings after four rounds of games.
“It will be a very tough game. Nigeria is a good team. They love to stretch their opponents at every levels physically and tactically.
“If we stretch ourselves and implement our game plan we will give them problems.
“We went there and were tactically disciplined. That was pleasing to me to see a South African team played with such passion.
“We are at home and need to win. We might be on the back foot, if we are in such situations, the major concern for us is to take it like that and play our game.
