Despite his season being interrupted by an adductor injury, the Nigeria international has made significant contributions to Die Werkself’s title success, emerging as one of their standout performers.
Boniface currently shares the title of Leverkusen’s top scorer in the Bundesliga, boasting an impressive tally of 11 goals.
The 23-year-old will face stiff competition in the attacking lineup, with contenders including Bayern Munich’s striker Harry Kane, Serhou Guirassy, Marvin Ducksch, Jonas Wind, Niclas Füllkrug, Omar Marmoush, Ermedin Demirović, Loïs Openda, and Deniz Undav.
