Bimenyimana fires warning to Enyimba

Date:

Rayon Sports striker Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana is confident the Blues can overcome Nigerian outfit Enyimba FC when the sides face off in the first-leg of their CAF Confederation Cup’s last eight tie at Kigali Stadium on Sunday.

The in-form Bimenyimana says he is unmoved by the reputation and success of the Nigerian giants.

“We know we are facing a good side but we believe it’s possible to score as many goals as we need from our backyard. Underestimating us would be at their own risk – and hopefully a good advantage for us,” Bimenyimana said.

He added that, “We have had big games this year during the earlier rounds and the group stage, we are not scared at all. It is definitely going to be tough call, but we are ready. We defied the odds to reach quarter-finals, and the journey continues.”
