Bolassie, Mbemba Threats For Eagles In Port Harcourt

For the May 28 international friendly against the Super Eagles in Uyo, DR Congo will line out two England-based players in their squad that will seek victory against their Nigerian hosts.

The Eagles will have to watch out for the expected threat from Everton’s fiery winger, Yannick Bolasie and Newcastle United attacker, Chancel Mbemba.

They were both named by Fédération Congolaise de Football-Association (FECOFA) in a 32-man provisional roster for the trip to Port Harcourt.

Also included are ex-Arsenal schoolboy Benik Afobe, ex-Chelsea winger Gaël Kakuta, in the Leopards’ list of three goalkeepers, ten defenders, seven midfielders and 12 strikers.

DR Congo head coach, Florent Ibengé will lead The Black Leopards into Port Harcourt on Friday, May 25th, three days to the match.

The midfielders are: Chancel Mbemba, Jacques Maghoma, Taguy Ndombele, Aron Tshibola, Neeskens Kebano, Paul Jose Mpoku, Gael Kakuta, Strikers: Yannick Bolasie, Mubele Ndombe, Chadrack Akolo, Harrison Manzala, Jordan Botaka, Yeni N’Gbakoto, Cedric Bakambu, Britt Assombalonga, Benik Afobe, Kabongo Kasongo, Ben Malango, Rick Tulenge.
