Box 2 Box FC to play Stihl FC IN Emenike Future XI final on Sunday.

All is set for the final of the maiden edition of the Emmanuel Emenike Future XI football tournament with Box 2 Box FC set to face Stihl FC in the final to be played on Sunday by 4pm at the Legacy pitch of the national stadium Surulere Lagos.

Box 2 Box FC beat Festac Young Stars 6 – 0 in the first semi final match played Friday morning while Stihl FC got a shock win, defeating Nath Boys 3 – 0 in the second semi final match.

One of the main dignitaries invited to witness the encounter, Emenike’s long term agent and Academy consultant for the Future XI tournament Erdem Konyar has exclusively revealed to footballlive.ng that the talents in the tournament is so unbelievable. “Everyone knows that when it comes to Nigeria the talents you see just leaves you speechless, What Emenike is doing here is a life changer and I can say lots of players will benefit from this project. I have seen some exceptional talents here I’m sure we will be able to work with now and in the future.”

Meanwhile coach of Stihl FC Ndubisi Ndah has also revealed to footballlive.ng that the tournament has been a tough one but Stihl has been able to go so far due to perseverance and teamwork and he is hopeful of winning the final. “I’m certain we can win the final. Box 2 Box is a fantastic team, they won their semi final match by 6 – 0 but we are not scared of them. We’ve fought our way to get here and we are not ready to give up. We will fight till the end.”

Coach of Box 2 Box FC Randy Reuben has insisted that his aim is to have the bulk of his players in the final XI and also win the tournament. “Getting to the final to win it is what we want and also having our players in the first XI will make it an extraordinary achievement for us.”

The winner of the championship will go home with the sum of 300, 000 naira while the runner up will take home 200, 000 naira. The tournament started with a total of 32 teams.
