Despite Brazil’s World Cup elimination, the country’s football federation (CBF) are eager to retain Tite as the team’s coach until the end of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The CBF are keeping faith in the 57-year-old’s project that started a couple of years ago and led the team to a comfortable qualification to Russia.
Tite will have a few days to contemplate his decision, but he shares the same desire to lead the team into the upcoming Copa America on home soil.
Brazilian football chiefs understand why the team were knocked out of the ongoing tournament and feel there is no reason for a radical change, such as the ones that followed their 2010 and 2014 World Cup eliminations.
