English lower division club, Brentford have completed the signing of Chiedozie Ogbene from Limerick of Ireland, though he had been on the radar of a number of other teams including his new club’s play-off rivals, Aston Villa.
The winger, who tried for several clubs in the summer, including Chelsea, scored 10 goals for the Irish side last season after signing last January from Cork.
Ogbene, who plays on either wing or down the middle but prefers the right hand side, is due to be in London for a medical and is expected to go straight into training with the first team.
