The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the appointment of Tunisian referee Dorsaf Ganouati to officiate the highly anticipated clash between Banyana Banyana of South Africa and the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the final round of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers.
The crucial qualifying tie is scheduled to take place at the Lotfus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Wednesday, with Ganouati set to lead the officiating team.
Joining Ganouati on the field will be her compatriots Houda Afine and Emna Ajbouni, who will serve as the first assistant and fourth officials respectively. Yara Atef Saïd Abdelfattah from Egypt has been appointed as the second assistant referee for the match.
Cameroon’s Agar Mezing will fulfill the role of referee assessor, while Cindy Dludlu from Eswatini will act as the match commissioner.
The Super Falcons won the First Leg of the Olympic Qualification match with a 1-0 win scored by Rasheedat Ajibade. They play the second leg at South Africa.
