CAFCC: El-Kanemi Warriors Hold Dadje FC to 1-1 Draw

Date:

Beninese club Dadje FC  were held to a 1-1 draw by El-Kanemi Warriors on Saturday in the first leg clash of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Bless Salassi gave Dadje FC the lead at the half-hour mark, marking the first time El-Kanemi Warriors have conceded a goal at home in continental competition.

The Maiduguri club equalised deep into stoppage time through Gimba Ajiji, securing a draw.

Both teams will trade tackles again in the second leg next weekend, where the Nigeria champions need a stronger performance to advance to the second round as Dadje FC has an away goal advantage.
