CAFCC: It’s not over, says Bashir

Date:

Enyimba FC forward Abdulrahman Bashir has stated that it is not yet over for Enyimba despite losing 1-0 at home against Raja Casablanca of Morocco in the first leg semi final of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Bashir told Footballlive.ng that not until the end of the return leg away in Morocco, Enyimba can also beat Raja Casablanca to qualify against all odds.

“We are unhappy to have lost 1-0 to Raja Casablanca in front of our fans in Aba,” Abdulrahman Bashir mused to Footballlive.ng.

“All hope isn’t lost for us in the CAF Confederation Cup. It’s not over until it’s over. We will fight till the end.”

“A lot of people have already written us off following the first leg defeat. We won’t let our feet off the pedal. We are still in it.”

The former ABS FC and Nasarawa United forward added: “This is football, anything can happen. We can also silence them at home and pay them back in their coin. All hope isn’t lost.”
