Calvin Bassey Nominated for Fulham’s Player of the Month

Date:

Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey, has been nominated for Fulham’s Player of the Month for March.

Bassey is among four teammates nominated for the award, including Andreas Pereira, Joao Palhinha, and Rodrigo Muniz. The winner will be determined by fans’ votes on the club’s social media platforms.

The 24-year-old Bassey played every minute of Fulham’s five games in April, making him the only centre-back to do so. The team is currently struggling with mixed results of one win, one draw, and three defeat.

Calvin Bassey joined Fulham from Eredivisie giants Ajax last summer, and has made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Cottagers this season, scoring once.
