Victor Moses got his day in the Sun for Chelsea for the second consecutive game as they hosted Liverpool in a thrilling top of the table clash, but he did not bring the spark.
Moses played all 90 minutes in Chelsea’s 2-1 win at Anfield against the Reds in the Carabao Cup and returned on Saturday, starting from the bench.
The winger was introduced as a second half substitute with the Blues leading 1-0. He contributed little in the 18 minutes he played as Chelsea conceded a late equalizer from former striker, Daniel Sturridge.
Those numbers brings the Nigerian’s total minutes this season to about 28 in the league under Maurizio Sarri after seven league matches – and four where he was named in the matchday squad.
