Chukwueze Praises Ibrahimovic and Hails Morata’s Impact on AC Milan

Date:

AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has spoken about his experiences with Sweden’s legendary forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alvaro Morata, sharing their influence on his development.

Chukwueze is currently having a great preseason, having scored a goal and provided 2 assists in 3 games for AC Milan.

The Nigeria international met with the legend Ibrahimovic and shared his interactions with him, noting that the Swede does not tolerate mediocrity and constantly strives for excellence.

“Ibra is very tough, my goodness. But he’s a good guy: he’s tough in business, always direct. He tells me: ‘Chuk, we expected you to score…’.

And then, when I score: ‘Ah, finally, but you should have scored two. Next time don’t joke in front of goal,’” Chukwueze shared with Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by Milan News.

Speaking on Morata, who recently joined AC Milan from Atletico Madrid, the former Juventus striker, who captained Spain to victory in Euro 2024, is seen by Chukwueze as an ideal addition to the team.

“Morata? Strong. He attacks the space, makes assists, works hard, and knows Serie A better than me. For us wingers, he’s perfect,” Chukwueze said.

Chukwueze has been one of AC Milan’s standout performers during their preseason tour, and the former Villarreal winger has assured fans that they will see a new him this season.
