The Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria (Club Owners) have described the recent conferment of Abia state award of excellence on the chairman of Enyimba international FC Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu as commendable and well deserved.
The Abia State Government through the governor Okezie Ikpeazu on behalf of the good people of the state bestowed on Chief Anyansi Agwu who is a frontline member of the Club Owners Association, the 2nd highest state award of Excellence .
In a congratulatory message to the Enyimba boss, Club Owners described him as the longest serving club chairman and the most successful football club administrator in Nigeria whose contributions to the growth and development of football in Abia State and Nigeria at large cannot be over emphasized.
The Association stressed that the award has further placed more challenges on his shoulders, as an ambassador of the Club Owners, Abia state and the nation, in addition to his responsibilities as a ranking executive committee member of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The congratulatory message jointly signed by the Chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the Executive secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka further observed that the award was a confirmation that Anyansi Agwu and other members of the Club Owners contributions in the country’s football development are keenly monitored by their various state governments.
