Playing in the Taça de Portugal hopefully will not stop Super Eagles technical Adviser Gernot Rohr from giving real talents a shot in the team says 23-year-old attacker Omere Peters.
Peters plays his club football for Clube Condeixa in the lower rung of Portuguese football and argues the league is as competitive as any other in Europe.
In a chat with footballlive.net, the youngster, “I know I’m good enough to play [for the Eagles], but there are certain qualities players must have to play in the national team and I hope that playing in the second division in won’t be a hindrance.”
