Kwara United Technical Adviser, Coach Abubakar Bala has come out to back his players to produce the required qualities to win the 2018 AITEO Cup surpassing what he achieved last season with Niger Tornadoes.
Coach Abubakar Bala last season guided the Iko Allah boys to a penalty shootout AITEO Cup defeat to Akwa United and would want to go a step further this season with the Harmony boys who are through to the quarterfinals despite a defeat to Kano Pillars on Friday.
The pragmatic Abubakar Bala who was optimistic that his players would finish the group with nine points said it was rather unfortunate that they lost to Kano Pillars but he was now focused on the quarterfinals against Katsina United as he backed his players to overcome the team from Katsina and qualify for the semifinal.
He concluded by stating his ambition in the 2018 AITEO Cup which he said was to surpass last year achievement with Niger Tornadoes and lift the trophy with Kwara United as he believes his players have the needed mentality and attitude to win the Title.
