Interim Sunshine Stars FC Technical Adviser, Coach Henry Abiodun praised the quality of the match between Sunshine Stars and El-kanemi Warriors describing it as an interesting encounter in which both teams displayed a good football artistry.
Speaking to www.footballive.ng, he said, “It was a fantastic game in which both sides played well even though it ended in a draw.”
He added, “Analytically, the first half was played in a totally different way from the second half which goes to show that the game was a tactical one.”
El-kanemi Warriors has there two outstanding goalkeepers to thank as they denied the team from Akure on numerous occasions with several fantastic saves.
Coach Abiodun also said he was proud of my boys performance despite lacking the luck required to win El-Kanemi on the field of play.
About the team’s final group stage match against Rangers International, he said, “It is going to be a battle because they are a good team with good physical presences and tactical strikes.”
Sunshine Stars need a win to guarantee progress and Coach Abiodun concluded by backing his players to put the necessary work in to achieve the win against Rangers International.
